Michael Kratcoski obtained his B.A. in Finance with a minor in Economics from Kent State University in 2022. He obtained his law degree from Cleveland State University College of Law in 2025.
Before enrolling in law school, Mr. Kratcoski interned for the City of Ravenna Economic Development Department, where he worked collaboratively with the Economic Development Department Director to facilitate the growth of business activity within the city of Ravenna through market analytic reports and other data-driven methods, including constructing a Return on Investment (ROI) Calculator to efficiently project tax revenue profitability from potential incentives offered to businesses interested in moving operations to Ravenna, Ohio.
At Cleveland State University College of Law, Mr. Kratcoski served as an Associate Member before becoming the Treasurer of the Global Business Law Review. As an Associate Member, Mr. Kratcoski’s Article, Addressing the Racial Homeownership Gap; How Legislation Similar to Sherrod Browns’ Stop Predatory Investing Act will be a Prerequisite to Success for Rep. Waters’ Downpayment Toward Equity Act received the Robert D. Kensey Memorial Award for Outstanding Scholarship in Civil Rights.
Before joining the firm in Fall of 2025, Mr. Kratcoski served in various legal positions, including as a Legal Intern for Progressive Insurance’s Legal Department and as a law clerk in Plaintiff Employment Discrimination Law. At Cleveland State University, Michael worked in Cleveland State University College of Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where he represented clients before the Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission (UCRC) who were denied unemployment benefits, arguing that their dismissal was without cause.
After being admitted to the practice of law in 2025, Michael joined the firm as an associate attorney. Mr. Kratcoski practices in the areas of domestic relations, estate planning, real estate, and business law. In November of 2025, he joined the Ohio State Bar Association and Portage County Bar Association. In his free time, Mr. Kratcoski enjoys seeing local live music, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
